Do you say ”neesh”, or do you prefer “nitch”?! Regardless of your choice of pronunciation, niche marketing is a powerful form of marketing on the internet.

Niche marketing involves getting into one specific area of interest and capitalizing on it by any means possible. Ultimately, the deeper you dive into a niche, the less competition you’ll have and so the more money you will make. The trickiest part is finding that nook that few other people have already saturated.

Here’s an example, I’ve just done a search on Google. I looked up the keyword “dolphin”, which results in 31,700,000 sites competing for that keyword! Um, that’s no good! Now, what about “fluro green dolphin”? That’s a bit better, 2,210 this time. But now, “fluro green dolphin suitcase”, that gives me a much friendlier number with only 268.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m not suggesting you go and market fluro green dolphin suitcases!…but you get what I’m saying. Ideally, you want to find a niche that results in a smaller amount of others doing a similar thing. You do want some competition but it’ll be a lot easier for you if you don’t have to jump over thousands and thousands of other competing sites in search engine rankings.

So, you’ve got a niche, and you’re ready to go. What do you do now?…everything and anything you can!

Attack your niche from as many angles as possible! Get the word out! Market, market, market it! Make videos, write blogs, do press releases, jump on all the social networks. Your goal is to create an online presence as fast as you can!

Grab your niche and run! You know how fast things can change on the net. Don’t miss your chance.

You’ll need to create an online presence for your niche marketing to be super successful. This can be done in a relatively short period of time. Have an action plan, set yourself schedules, and work steadily and consistently. You want to avoid sprinting too fast in the beginning, only to find yourself exhausted and out of breath after a couple of days or weeks time.

Start blogging. Write informative posts, 200-400 words in length, at least 3 times per week. Don’t add your business or backlinks on all of your posts, otherwise you’ll appear too pushy. Some of your posts could even be videos. Have fun with it and be creative.

Do a couple videos per week, and get them up on all the various video media sites. Write at least 2 articles per week (writing one daily is preferable) and whiz them around to all the article directories. Better yet, research companies that will scatter them around for you. This will save you an unbelievable amount of time.

There’s loads and loads of ways to do your niche marketing. It can be exceptionally profitable, but you’ll want to do some research first and work out your niche marketing strategy. The only challenging part really, will be working out our “neesh”, your “nitch” to begin with! The rest can easily be learned and applied with focus and persistence.
