Internet Marketing Event - Just Got Back
Posted Under: What I'm Up To
I’ve spent the last 3 days in Atlanta, GA at a live internet marketing event put on by Keith Wellman, the creator of Easy Sales Formula. It was a packed 3 days and I’m still processing all the information that I heard there. Granted, like many of these events, there were a lot of successful marketers there pitching their programs and/or products. It’s to be expected unless otherwise stated. That being said, there was some truly good and useful information.
Here’s the list of presenters. If you’ve been in this arena any time at all, I’m sure you’ll recognize some of these names.
Keith Wellman - Easy Sales Formula Developer; Mike Stewart - The Video King; Joey Smith - Social Media Expert; Devon Brown - The Success Renegade; Gina Gaudio Graves - The JV Queen; Alex Nghiem - 7 Figure Launches; Paul Counts - Traffic Expert; Gary Ambrose - List Building Expert; Joe Lavery - The Testing Freak; Tom Bell - CPA Network Owner; Matt Bacak - The Guru’s Guru and Jon Shugart - Developer of Keyword Rockstar. Quite a line up, huh!
It was great to get to meet and talk with these experts. These types of events are about the only time you can do that unless you’re part of their “inner circle”. If you haven’t ever been to a live internet marketing event, it’s worth going. As I said earlier, just know it can become a pitch-fest, but if you know that going in, you’re ready for it and can really just concentrate on the content that’s being shared. You might even be surprised and find that an offer is just too good and have to act on it.
Also, don’t be shy in going up to any of these people with questions or just to say hi and introduce yourself. They’re just people … who’ve been where you are at some point in their lives. The drive, focus and enthusiasm they’ve exhibited is what’s made the difference for them. Some still have it and it shows in their presentations and personalities.
Here’s a couple of pics of me with some of the gurus: Joey Smith and Joe Lavery

Hi Debbie
Its been ages since I visited your blog. Thought it was about time I checked on some old friends and see how some fellow students are fairing.
Do you know I really want to attend one of these events that your above post mentions. I keep reading about different events on peoples blogs, but always after the event.
It must be a great way to make new contacts. We have to constantly learn and grow.

Hi Andy,
Thanks for stopping by. Yes, this was my first event to attend. I couldn’t make it out to Vegas … know it would have been great to meet so many of our group in person.
You’re right about making new contacts though. Always a good thing.
Best,
Debbie
